I built a website with AI. Now can somebody make it actually work?
Yes!
Maybe ChatGPT, Claude or Grok helped you write the copy.
Maybe Wix AI built the first version.
Maybe you started something in Lovable, Base44, Webflow, or another AI website builder.
And honestly? You got pretty far.
But now something isn't quite working.
• The design doesn't feel finished.
• The mobile version is doing strange things.
• The copy sounds like AI wrote it.
• The pages don't really flow together.
• You're not sure whether the SEO is right.
• The forms work, but nothing happens afterward.
Or you've reached the point where you're asking AI the same question twelve different ways and still can't get the thing to behave.
This is where I come in.
You don't necessarily need another website.
You might need someone who knows what they are looking at.
AI has made it incredibly easy to get a website started.
That's a good thing.
I use AI too.
But there's a difference between generating a website and building a digital presence that actually supports a business.
I can step into what you've already built, figure out what's working, identify what's getting in the way, and help you decide what happens next.
Sometimes that means fixing a few things.
Sometimes it means reorganizing the site.
Sometimes the site itself is fine and the real problem is everything happening behind it.
And occasionally, yes, the smartest thing is to rebuild.
But I'm not going to tell you to start over just because I didn't build version one.
What can I help fix?
Most AI-built websites I see don’t have one obvious problem. They have a bunch of smaller ones that start adding up.
The branding is almost there.
The copy is technically correct but doesn't really sound like the business.
There are six pages saying roughly the same thing.
The homepage looks pretty, but nobody knows what they're supposed to do next.
The mobile layout got forgotten somewhere along the way.
Google doesn't have enough information to understand the business.
AI search engines don't have clear information to reference.
The contact form sends an email, but there isn't really a process after someone submits it.
The CMS is confusing.
The automations aren't connected.
Or something simply doesn't work.
That's the kind of stuff I look for.
AI can built things. Strategy still matters.
The question isn't really: Can AI build a website?
Of course it can.
The better questions are:
• Is this the right website for your business?
• Can people understand what you do?
• Can Google understand it?
• Can AI systems understand it?
• Does it guide someone toward becoming a customer?
• Does the technology actually work?
• And what happens after someone clicks the button?
Those are different questions.
They're also the questions I've spent years answering for businesses.
Maybe you built it in Wix.
Maybe you didn't.

What can you build during a Day Build?
✔️ Preparation is required before we complete the build.
A Day Build can be used for a website, landing page, CMS setup, booking experience, workflow, automation, ecommerce setup or another clearly defined digital project.
The most important requirement is a focused scope.
If the project has too many moving parts to reasonably complete within the format, I’ll recommend The Site, The System or another engagement instead.
How many pages are included?
✔️ Bring what you have. There is not a fixed page count.
A simple informational website may include several straightforward pages, while a more technically involved project may focus on one page or one specific system.
The Day Build is scoped around the amount and complexity of the work rather than an arbitrary number of pages.
What do I need to have ready?
✔️ Bring what you have.
Bring what you have: business details, service information, a logo, photographs, existing website content, and examples that help explain your direction. We’ll also identify the account access needed to build and launch.
If you don’t have copy or imagery ready, we’ll use the strategy session to establish what the website needs to communicate. With your agreement, I can develop the copy and select or create imagery as part of the defined scope.
You’ll still need to provide accurate information about your business and confirm important details. The Day Build relies on your knowledge of the business and your trust in Studio Magic to make creative decisions efficiently.
For CMS, automation, or functionality work, we may need organized content, sample records, or a clear explanation of what should happen. We identify those requirements before the build day.
Can you work on my existing website?
✔️ Yes, primarily on Wix, when its current structure can support the agreed work.
I review the foundation first. If the request depends on repairing a larger structural problem, migrating a website, or developing a more involved system, we’ll discuss a more suitable engagement.
How is this different from The Site?
✔️ The Day Build is designed for speed, a focused scope, and trust in my creative judgment.
We establish the direction in our strategy session, then I build the website. There are no advance wireframes or multiple design concepts to choose from. The design, layout, copy, and imagery I develop form the finished direction, with room for small adjustments during our handoff.
The Site provides room for a broader project with more involved strategy, design development, content, functionality, or integrations. If you want a more collaborative design process or expect several rounds of refinement, we should discuss that before choosing a Day Build.
Are revisions included?
✔️ The Day Build is designed to reduce the traditional revision cycle.
You are hiring Studio Magic to take the agreed direction and execute it with a high level of creative control.
We’ll review the completed work and address reasonable adjustments within the agreed scope, but substantial changes in direction or additional functionality may require additional work.
What if I need a website in exactly one day?
✔️ If speed is your priority and you’re comfortable handing me the creative reins, we can make a lot happen in a day.
Yes, a small, focused website can be built in one day when the scope and required access allow it.
We reserve the date and start with a one-hour Zoom session to discuss your business, the website’s purpose, and what it needs to include. Then I get to work. We meet again at the end of the day to review the website and complete the transfer and connections.
If you have copy, images, and a page structure ready, great. If you don’t, we can establish the essentials during our morning session, and I’ll develop the content and visual direction from there. You’ll need to provide accurate business information and be available to confirm important details.
Making this happen in one day takes trust. You set the business goals and give me creative control over the design, layout, copy, and imagery. There are no advance wireframes, design options to compare, or rounds of revisions built into this approach.
Before confirming the date, we’ll check that the project fits and that the necessary accounts, domain access, and launch requirements are in place. Third-party connection or processing delays can still affect when the website becomes publicly available.
A good prompt is not the same thing as good judgement
I’ve been writing about what happens after AI gives you the website, the strategy, the answer or the plan.
Before we start changing things, I have to understand the problem.

Instead of immediately rebuilding your website or selling you a giant project, I'll look at what you already have.
I'll review the website, how it's structured, how people move through it, the content, search visibility, functionality, and the systems connected to it.
Then I'll tell you what I think needs attention.
What should stay.
What should change.
What's missing.
What's causing problems.
And what I would prioritize first.
You leave with a clearer path forward, whether you hire Studio Magic to execute it or not.
What happens after the Diagnostic?

You might only need a focused round of improvements.
You might need help finishing what AI started.
You might need a larger website rebuild through The Site.
Or we may discover that your website isn't really the problem at all.
Maybe the missing piece is the CRM.
• The automation.

That's when we're moving into The System.

Can I hire someone to finish a website I built with AI?

Do you work on AI websites you didn't build?

Yes. You do not have to be an existing Studio Magic client. The first step is usually The Diagnostic so I can understand how the website was built and determine what kind of work it needs.
Do I need to rebuild my AI-generated website?

Some websites need relatively small improvements. Others need restructuring or rebuilding. I prefer to review what you already have before recommending that you start over.
Can you make AI-gnerated website copy sound less like AI?
✔️ We excel at this.
I can review the site's SEO and AI-search visibility, including page structure, content, metadata, internal linking, structured data, business information, and whether the site clearly communicates what your company does.
No one can guarantee that a business will appear in Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or another search platform, but we can make the site much easier for those systems to understand and reference.
What if my website looks fine but the functionality isn't working?

Your website may not actually be the problem.
I can review forms, databases, CMS collections, automations, bookings, memberships, client areas, integrations, and other connected systems to determine where things are breaking down.
Can you help with websites built using ChatGPT or Claude?
