THE SYSTEM:
BUILT FOR BUSINESSes THAT NEED structure
Build a better way for your business to work.
Design how people, information, tools, and work connect, then build the infrastructure to support it.
When information is scattered, processes depend on workarounds, or an idea needs a way to take shape, I help you work through how it should function and build the digital system to support it.
That can mean connecting the tools you already use, creating a place for clients or employees to get things done, or developing a custom application around a specific need.
Let's talk about what needs to work.

Does your business need a better way to manage operations?
Maybe clients need a place to submit information, upload documents, approve work, and see where their project stands.
Your employees might need one place to find resources, complete onboarding, submit requests, and keep track of responsibilities.
You might need to manage bookings alongside staff assignments, customer records, availability, and follow-up. Or connect an inquiry to the steps that come after it, so information moves from intake to assignment to completion.
You may also have an idea for an application: a tool people subscribe to, a platform that connects a community, or a new way to deliver your service.
I help you work through how it should operate: who uses it, what information they need, what they can do, and what happens next. Then I design and build the workflows, interfaces, and connections that make it work.

What is a System Strategist?
Before we decide what to build, we work out how it should work.
As an example, a request for a client portal can open up bigger questions.
How does someone become a client? What information do they provide? Who needs to review it? What should they be able to see or change? What happens when something is missing, a request changes, or another person needs to step in?
I look at the relationships between those moments. Together, we define the process, the information behind it, and the experience people need to move through it.
Those decisions guide what gets built, what gets connected, and what can stay as it is.

Understand the work.
✔️ Map how things happen today, including the handoffs and workarounds. Clarify what needs to improve, who is involved, and what a useful result would look like.

Design the process.
✔️ Define the steps, responsibilities, decisions, and exceptions. Decide what should happen automatically and where someone needs to review, approve, or act.

Create the experience.
✔️ Design the screens and interactions people use to participate. That might be a client portal, employee workspace, member platform, management tool, or custom application, with access shaped around each person’s role.

Connect the tools.
✔️ Bring forms, databases, applications, and communication tools into the process where they belong. Use integrations and automation to support a clear next step.

Prepare it for real use.
✔️ Test the agreed workflows and the situations that can interrupt them. Plan the handoff, documentation, and training people need to use and manage what has been built.

Words from clients
"Not only is Keri remarkably talented, very technical and very creative, but she understood all of my site requirements and nailed my new website perfectly on her first try. This saved me a ton of time, money and frustration. The whole process from start to finish was simple and seamless. Keri also went above and beyond what we initially scoped and budgeted. I can’t wait to work with her again in the future as I launch other websites and add additional functionality to my current site."

Proof of Systems Built
How is The System different from The Site?
✔️ There is a difference.
The Site focuses on the public-facing experience people have with your business. It can include bookings, ecommerce, memberships, integrations, and other functionality.
The System focuses on how people, information, and work move through a process. That might involve roles, permissions, connected records, internal tools, client workflows, or a custom application. Some projects involve both. We work through the fit together.
Do I need to know what I want built?
✔️ You need a situation or an idea to talk about.
You don’t need to arrive with a technical specification. Part of the work is understanding the need and deciding how it should function. If the first priority is a standalone assessment and a clearer direction, The Diagnostic may be a useful starting point.
Does this always mean building a custom app?
✔️ Not at all!
The right approach may involve improving an existing process, connecting tools, adding custom functionality, or building an application. The decision follows what people need to do and what the project needs to support.
What is included at the $10,000 starting price?
✔️ Each System engagement has an agreed scope.
The starting price is not a promise that every portal, integration, migration, or workflow is included. We define the requirements and deliverables for your project before confirming the investment.
Does my Diagnostic count toward The System?
✔️ A continuation credit will apply.
A $300 continuation credit from a completed $599 Diagnostic can apply to a qualifying System engagement booked within 30 days of your Diagnostic review. Its findings also give us a starting point for the work ahead.
What happens after launch?
✔️ We define the handoff and support arrangements as part of the project scope.
Before launch, we establish who will manage the system, what they need to know, and how questions or issues will be handled. Your project scope defines the handoff, documentation, training, and any support included after launch.
As people begin using the system, they may uncover opportunities to refine a workflow, simplify a step, or add functionality. We can review those needs together and decide what belongs in a future phase. Ongoing maintenance, new development, and third-party platform costs are discussed separately so you understand what is included and what requires an additional investment.
For clients I’ve already worked with, In-House offers a way to continue that relationship through digital strategy and hands-on help. That might mean improving an existing process, connecting another tool, expanding what the system can do, or planning its next stage as your business evolves.
